The Rosé revolution continues

#thinkanddrinkpink #yeswayrosé #PIDYP – all hashtags that you may have seen recently if you've been following the meteoric rise in the popularity of dry, pink wine in Australia over the past 12 months. Rosé has taken the social media world by storm due to its popularity with younger, highly engaged wine drinkers. Already a staple in Europe, particularly in the south of France and Mediterranean, dry Rosé suits the Western Australian climate as well as any wine style. Its popularity is being driven by the ability to serve the wine cool when the weather is warm, with the hallmark, delicious, refreshing palate often likened to wild strawberries and brambles.
Deep Woods tasted major show success for the Rosé styles with both the Estate Rosé and Harmony Rosé picking up multiple Gold Medals. Furthermore, the inaugural release of the 2015 Estate Rosé collected two Trophies for Best Rosé, at each of the Margaret River Wine Show and Qantas Wine Show of WA.
