A score of 98 points and a 'Best in Class' were the highlights from the 2017 Halliday Wine Companion.
The 2013 Deep Woods Grand Selection Wilyabrup Cabernet Sauvignon scored an outstanding 98 points and was selected as a wine to be presented at the awards ceremony. Not to be outdone, the 2015 Deep Woods Estate Rosé scored 96 points and was deemed the No 1 Rosé in Australia.
The Fogarty Wine Group (FWG) had 31 wines awarded 90 or more points in this year’s Wine Companion including:
- one wine at 98 points
- three wines at 97 points
- two wines at 96 points
- five wines at 95 points
- six wines at 94 points.
