Deep Woods Estate a 'tour de force' at the Margaret River Wine Show 2022 with 6 Trophies and 4 Gold Medals
Deep Woods Estate has been awarded an absolutely outstanding 6 Trophies and 4 Gold Medals at the Margaret River Wine Show 2022.
Established in 2002, the Margaret River Wine Show has grown to become the most important local industry event, showcasing some of the best examples of Margaret River Wine. This year's show saw 665 wines from 92 local wineries take part.
The 2020 Single Vineyard G2 Cabernet Sauvignon scored 96 points and was awarded Top Gold and an incredible four Trophies:
- Langton’s Trophy for Wine of Show – 2020 Single Vineyard G2 Cabernet Sauvignon
- Margaret River Wagyu Trophy for Red Wine of Show
- Tonnellerie de Mercurey Trophy for Best Single Vineyard Red
- City of Bussleton Trophy for Best Cabernet Sauvignon
Not only this, but Deep Woods Estate was also awarded the Langton’s Trophy for Wine of Provenance for the 2021, 2016 and 2013 vintages of the Reserve Chardonnay. This Trophy highlights a wine of significant pedigree and is awarded to the top performing wine across three different vintages.
Following these incredible results, Deep Woods Estate was also crowned with the Vinline Mobile Bottling Trophy for Most Successful Exhibitor of Show.
