Deep Woods Estate 2022 Sauvignon Blanc listed in James Halliday's Top 100 Wines for 2022

We are extremely proud to have been listed as James Halliday’s Top Sauvignon Blanc Under $30 for 2022 with our 2022 Estate Sauvignon Blanc – a category which Halliday describes as providing "serious bang for buck”.

The James Halliday Top 100 is an invitation only event, which showcases a range of varieties and price points, providing wine lovers from around the country an invaluable guide to some of Australia's finest wines.

On this recent win, Chief Winemaker Julian Langworthy said: "Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc is an undercover gem, expressive and lifted like a great Sauvignon Blanc should be. The palate is finer and more delicate than in some other regions and offers great drinkability and enjoyment, especially at the amazing price point – James Halliday on the money as always."

Halliday awarded the Deep Woods Estate 2022 Sauvignon Blanc highly with 95 points and said: “Partial barrel fermentation adds another dimension to the citrus, snow pea and passionfruit notes of this wine, the rich bouquet marking a multi-layered palate that takes a split second to fill every part of the mouth with its grapefruit and nectarine flavours.”
