Ivory Awarded a Trophy at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show 2023
We are very pleased to announce that the Deep Woods Estate 2023 Ivory Semillon Sauvignon Blanc was awarded a Trophy for Best Dry White Blend at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show last week.
The Royal Adelaide Wine Show is the most prestigious wine show in Australia, featuring over 2,300 wines from over 300 wineries across the country. Wines are judged by a panel of esteemed judges from across Australia over four days, to determine medal and trophy winners. Greg Follet, Chairman of the Wine Committee, said: “We had more than 2,300 wines this year, and our judges have been impressed by the quality and variety of wines in this year’s entries."
The 2023 Ivory is a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River. The palate exhibits hallmark regional characteristics of intense, juicy lemon pith and fresh green herbs, alongside a crunchy acidity providing balance and freshness, while highlighting the grassy, tropical and citrus flavours on the finish.
Two Gold Medals were also awarded to Deep Woods Estate wines:
