Four gold medals awarded to deep woods estate at the 2022 royal queensland wine awards
Following on from the incredible Decanter Best in Show award for the 2020 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Deep Woods Estate continues to go from strength to strength, taking home four Gold Medals in the recent Royal Queensland Wine Awards (RQWA) 2022.
In its 143rd year, the RQWA is a prestigious capital city wine show with a team of expert wine judges from across the country. This year saw an extremely high number of wines being submitted, with over 1,400 wines from 212 wineries across the country.
We are extremely proud of group winemaker Julian Langworthy, senior winemaker Andrew Bretherton, operations manager Emma Gillespie, vineyard manager John Fogarty and the whole Deep Woods Estate team on these incredible results.
